Coffee Tasters Club

If you are a coffee fanatic like me, I have a suggestion for you:
Coffee of the Month Club

There is no better way to experiment with your taste buds and try coffees from around the world. I had no idea of how drastically different coffee can be from region to region. There are three areas where coffee is generally grown - Central & South America, Africa and the Pacific.

Here are some characteristics of each region:
  • The Americas -- Coffees from Central America and South America tend to be generally light bodied, crisp with sweet and sometimes spicy flavors.

  • Africa -- Coffees grown in Africa and Arabia are quite exquisite with strong distinctive flavors. A trained palette can taste hints of flowers, fruit or chocolate- definitely an intense flavor experience.

  • The Pacific -- Coffees of the Pacific have an earthy taste and aroma. Woodsy, earthy, smoky and nutty may be used to describe the robust flavor or Pacific grown coffee.

If you're not sure what type of coffee you like, Boca Java has a great search page to help you narrow down their selection. You can start by selecting a specific roast - light roast, medium roast, or dark roasted beans. For the more experienced coffee drinkers, Boca Java offers 6 house blends - all available in decaf too.

  • tropical kiss - chocolate and tropical coconut

  • cottontail delight - white chocolate and fluffy marshmallows

  • white chocolate raspberry - rich white chocolate and raspberry

But this is what really excites me about Boca Java - Operation Million Cup They send donated coffee to US Troops stationed overseas!
